Here at Swan Mountain Women’s & Family Clinic, we understand the weather, distance or busy lives can make it difficult to come see us in person, so we are happy to provide convenient health care services through telehealth services.
Telemedicine, or telehealth, is an alternative to in-person visits via video calls. It allows health care providers to perform follow-up consultations, manage chronic diseases and patients’ medication, perform psychotherapy, and other clinical services where patients must practice social distancing or when they are unable to visit our clinic.

What to Expect During Your Virtual Health Visits
When you schedule an appointment with us through call or by filling up our contact form, our health care staff will first determine whether remote health care is appropriate for your condition. For life-threatening illnesses and emergencies, we recommend direct clinical intervention.
Once your schedule is approved, you can access our virtual care through video chat or messaging platforms. Our health care practitioners will discuss your concerns and symptoms during your appointment.
They may need to perform visual exams and look over your physical abnormalities. We understand that this can be overwhelming for some of our patients; we will make sure that your appointment with us will go as smoothly as possible.
